The very welcome Magic Lantern return of two highly popular acts who have played several times previously
A singer, songwriter and fingerstyle guitar player with a unique and engaging style, Wes has returned to Warwickshire after a stint in Yorkshire and played magical gigs of his original music at the Magic Lantern before full houses in January & May 2019
He is also part of the poetry-inspired Mechanicals Band, who also played amazing sold-out gigs at here in November 2018 as well as March & August 2019
This live show is a rare chance to see Wes perform solo in a cosy coffee house environment and hear songs from his 5 album back catalogue, some of the work he does with The Mechanicals and a selection of songs from his new project The Silver Wye.
“A blast of originality, primal energy and musical magic in a market saturated with cloned artists and homogenised songs” (Gerry Diver – Producer)
Wes will be supported by Burning Salt who are paying their third visit to the venue , this time to show audiences their new album ‘Close To Home’. Songwriter & singer/guitarist/keyboard player Hannah Hull with doublebass player John Parker (a fellow member of The Mechanicals Band with Wes) have entranced those attending their two earlier performances here.
Tickets £7 in advance from the cafe or on-line (with booking fee). Any remaining tickets £10 on the door.
Doors open at seven o’clock for your tea, wine & cake needs before the performance commences at half past seven
