Local community woodland Foundry Wood is pleased to announce Award winning comedy-science-singer-songwriter John Hinton will be performing in the woods in May.
John will be performing LIVE at Foundry Wood in the afternoon on Sunday 22nd May – after the group’s Annual General Meeting. He will perform the songs he wrote a couple of years ago with Foundry Wood about nature and lockdown.
The songs in Ensonglopedia of Plants are both funny and refreshing.
John says, “humour can be found in the strangest of places – even at the heart of a pandemic – and can sometimes be the best way of reflecting on uncomfortable subjects.”
Chair of Friends of Foundry Wood Kristie Naimo said “We are so pleased John can finally return to the woods to perform his songs live. All are welcome to attend our AGM beforehand of just come for the performance and enjoy!”
No tickets needed, but there will be a ‘give what you can’ collection at the end.
All welcome – suitable for all ages!
Friends of Foundry Wood AGM will take place 2 – 3pm
John’s performance will start at 3:15 and last about an hour.
Drinks and cakes will be available to purchase.
