You feel as comfortable clutching a laptop & having a coffee, dining with your partner, chomping tapas pre theatre or simply supping a few beers after work. The DB is two levels of timbered floor, smattered with rugs & mismatched dining furniture.
Plants, squishy leather sofas & log burners both upstairs & down mean that you can eat or drink pretty much anywhere whilst still getting a fix of photosynthesis. Framed vintage comic books & games consoles adorn the walls whilst annuals from yesteryear fill the shelves.
Gastrolusters have plenty to feast on. We use modern cooking techniques to serve our non traditional menu, offering creativity not seen quite like this in these surroundings & for this budget. We also sell Spam.
We take full advantage of being an Independent Free House & we have some genuine fun with a really diverse line up that literally covers from what’s on our doorstep to a truly global collection. Craft Draught, Local Real Ale, Imported German & Belgian gear, 57 Single Malts, 25 Bourbons, 29 Gins, 23 rums, 49 wines (many by the glass) and a plethora of bottled beers.
