Temper is widely recognised as one of the most successful and talented graffiti artists of his generation. His critically-acclaimed 2014 collection, cover:versions, saw famous album covers remastered in Temper’s unique style, and we’re delighted to announce that a brand new addition to the cover:versions portfolio is now available.
“Album covers were like an art gallery to me as a child, they had a magic about them that would transport me to another place.”  – Temper
The new piece, entitled ‘Temper’s Cover Versions Graffiti Gang’, is inspired by the cover art for The Beatles’ 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The piece features a montage of Temper’s cover:versions and B-boy characters in the background, as a nod to previous titles in the collection and to the impact music and cover art has had on Temper as an artist.

‘Temper’s Cover Versions Graffiti Gang’ is available as a signed giclee on paper or stretched canvas in a hand-moulded, bespoke frame created with disused vinyl records. These original frames each take three days to make, and were designed by Temper exclusively for the cover:versions collection to complement his work.

The new edition is available to view and buy from today, alongside a range of previous signed limited edition pieces from the cover:versions collection. Please contact Castle Galleries for any further information.
