Côte Brasserie are delighted to be opening in Royal Leamington Spa on February 1st 2016. Rich in history, beautiful scenery and striking Regency architecture, it’s no wonder that Leamington Spa is a draw throughout the year for locals and tourists alike. Offering a great range of independent and boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, alongside high street brands, Leamington Spa is the perfect place for Côte to bring its chic, sophisticated all-day dining and Parisian-style neighbourhood feel.
The restaurant will be situated in Regent Court, which although populated with other restaurants and bars, welcomes Côte as something new and different, adding choice and strengthening the dining offer of the area in general.
Côte Restaurants CEO, Alex Scrimgeour says, “Our location places us right in the heart of the action, just off The Parade, which is always a hive of activity. Côte’s position in Regent Court, slightly set back from Regent Street, will offer a retreat for a cosy breakfast, lunch or dinner to locals, shoppers and tourists. We are delighted to be bringing further choice to this thriving town and feel confident that our combination of warm and welcoming service, simple, freshly prepared French food, and excellent value for money will be popular in Leamington Spa”.
Guests will always find classic brasserie favourites such as steak frites, tuna Niçoise and chargrilled corn-fed Breton chicken on the a la carte menu. There’s a tempting selection of desserts on offer and Côte’s must try crème caramel is a much-loved house speciality. The wine list is extensive and informative, yet reasonably priced, featuring wines from a variety of producers across France.
Ever growing interest in eating with the seasons, along with Côte’s commitment to sourcing high quality ingredients, results in monthly-changing specials and weekday lunch and early evening menus, ensuring there is always something new to delight both regular and first-time guests. At £10.95 for two courses and £12.95 for three courses the weekday lunch and early evening set menu provides outstanding value and lends itself perfectly to a quick lunch or relaxed dining. Popular dishes include pork rillettes with sourdough bread and pan roasted cod with ratatouille and a lemon and olive oil dressing.
The same care and attention to detail applies to Côte’s breakfast menus; you will find that everything from the artisanal French jams on the tables to the Guérande sea-salted butter served with the freshly baked croissants has been carefully considered. The menu is comprehensive and again, very reasonably priced. The renowned eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise, in particular, is a favourite among guests. There is also a signature French breakfast, which includes an award-winning boudin noir, a croque monsieur, French toast and a vegetarian breakfast that is making a name for itself too, to mention just a few more choices! With long lazy brunches very much “en vogue” at the moment, at weekends, breakfast is served until 1pm.
Costing around a million pounds, the refurbishment represents a substantial investment for Côte; the
142 cover restaurant will also provide around 50 new jobs to the local area.
